This course places the long and complex Chinese experiences in the wider context of world and global history. Open to all interested students. This course will also introduce students to the methods of historical practice, including primary-source analysis, historical writing, library and research skills, and public history.  HIST 270 will introduce students to the methods of historical practice, including primary-source analysis, historical writing, library and research skills, and public history.
